Is There A Website Glitch?

I just tried to attach a photo to a post and nothing happened. I was able to do so a few hours ago and tried doing it again using my phone and desktop and nothing happened when I clicked on the photo icon. Any thoughts?

I sent a PM to JimC64, a Forum Administrator.

Ever since the "update" a few weeks ago, I also have periodic problems attaching photos.
Sometimes it works, and other times I have to CANCEL several times before it'll take. Both on "Drag and Drop" and File Search.

It is affecting some members and has been reported it to Internet Brands. The techies are investigating.

I continue to be unaffected and unable to replicate the issue as can be seen from the inserted image. Norri can replicate the issue and is helping IB with their investigations.

As with anything free can we really expect faultless service?

Even if I were paying I'd not mind if it kicked out my upload multiple times.

So yes I've had the same but am....what are the words...understanding an patient...yes those will do :D

+1. I could only copy and paste from an existing pic in another post of mine.

Thing is, Marky, it DID work flawlessly before it was updated. Well, not UPDATED, but downgraded for no reason other than for Sake of Change.

+1 When I select Manage Attachments nothing happens I have tried it in both Chrome and Microsoft Edge

Cee Jay 10-22-2018 11:49 AM

Chrome is a memory-hog and Edge is just bad. Try using Firefox, you may like it better.

Sorry for the uploader trouble, everyone. We just rolled out a forum update that we're hopeful will fix the issue. If you continue to see the problem, please try logging out, clearing your cookies and cache, and then logging back in. If that doesn't do the trick, please post here and let me know.

Thank you!

Thanks! Working again!

IB Jason 10-22-2018 04:26 PM

Great, glad to hear that! Thanks for letting us know.

XJsss 10-23-2018 10:17 AM

Yup it's now working for me too. Thanks

Hi, for a few days now I'm having trouble seeing anything on the forum. Every thread seems to just load as plain text. See the attached picture to see what I'm talking about.

I cleared my cache, cookies and logged out ... still the same issue. Let me know if i'm doing something wrong here.

My apologies, Greg. Can you please let me the device you're on, as well as which browser you're using to access the site?

Thanks!

gkubrak 10-25-2018 02:54 PM

Windows 7 Pro and using latest Google Chrome. I also tried it on Internet Explorer and same issue.

I logged in on my iphone today and it looked normal, then I tried it again on my computer and it seems to be working now.

Will try again on my home computer and if it is still not working, I will let you know. Thanks.

IB Jason 10-25-2018 03:22 PM

Thanks for the information. We pushed out a fix that should resolve the issue, as you noted. Please let me know hoe it goes when you try it on your home computer.

gkubrak 10-26-2018 07:27 AM

Seems to be running fine now. Thanks for the help.

jackra_1 11-01-2018 03:16 PM

I still cannot post a pic no matter what I do.

I do the search on my computer locate the .jpg and open then when its loaded into the box 100% I click on upload. Nada.

I see the "manage attachments" on the bottom of my screen and when I click on that I am back to ground zero.

I use Chrome a my browser.

Like and F-type then?? :D

I enjoy the site, just don't understand why you can't 'like' a post as you can on the three other forums I use...which is my only gripe
