If you have enough money, they do. That is one of the roles of the SVO (Special Vehicle Operations) division.

"SVO is based at our brand new, £20m Technical Centre in Warwickshire, England. This specialist manufacturing facility is Jaguar Land Rover’s Centre of Excellence and home to a team of 200 automotive specialists. SVO’s 20,000m2 headquarters has over 40 engineering inspection bays and a world‑class paint facility."

Jaguar XK blue wrap
Powerhouse I'm a huge fan of the French racing blue

I was also looking into wrapping the car and came up with the same color thought

Looks like you have a project on your hands Powerhouse. I like the chrome blue better than FRB. As has been said, remember to post pictures all along the project.

Where is that option on the "build your own car link"? I was never offered that option when building my XE at the dealership; which I would've done. Porsche does it for like 7K, how much does Jaguar charge?

I love the French blue too, but if I were wrapping, I would not go with the same exact color. How about a Gulf style livery?

I assume you would need to initiate an enquiry through a dealer and then get your wallet out...

Here is an example of a custom job done by the ETO which is what SVO used to be called.

So got a quote for mirror finish and it was €3100 (£2100), and upkeep could be a problem on a daily user car so i think thats out, for the blue gloss it was €1350 (£1220) for wrap and €200 (£180) for carbon bits.
Came across this wrap last night that look awesome, called AVERY DENNISON DIAMOND BLUE WRAP, looks good, so has thrown a spanner in the works, on the first video on the xj, The wrap was fitted by Wrap concepts of Basildon, Essex, anyone have experience of them.

I was debating something like this a while back, more-so to hide the imperfections and protect the paint. However, a solid color wrap ended up being close to $3000USD, and went way north of there for anything non-standard.

That color does pop though.

The best thing about going BRB is the fact it remains a factory color in my opinion it looks amazing

I will try to be very polite about it. Instead of buying 99 XK8 in good running condition for $5k(?), you got Jag/Chevy hybrid for 10k after 6 months(?) of repair???????? In my opinion value of this hybrid is twice lower than good Jag of same year. You will sell it sooner or later. Absolutely doesn't make sense to me. Additional problem is, not many mechanics will try to repair it, because it is hybrid wiring! Good luck! For 10k you could be driving 08 XK! Whatever makes you happy!

Powerhouse, just a word of warning, you'll have to advise your insurance. I was looking to originally buy a black car and have it wrapped, my insurance quote increased by 20% and I'm an old git at 53! From what I know of vehicle stuff in Ireland it's always more stringent and costly than in the rest of the UK.

You may also need to advise DVA and leave a small unwrapped bit in the boot...just in case the Garda pull you over after NPR identifying your car as another colour.

Don't shoot the messenger!

PS I was quoted £1300 to do standard body colour (blue) on the black XKR I was considering...but then went for a white dynamic and decided to leave it alone
