Default Time to say good-bye

Well, it have been two great years, but now I have to part from my cat.
Can't say, that I do this easily, but the circumstances leave me few options.

I truly enjoyed every moment with it and I sure as hell will miss the turned heads on the streets and the traffic-lights.
So, I will now step into a average car, which will be a Mercedes E-class coupe, with the V6 Diesel. Also less of a looker, it has the more sensible fuel consumption for what lies ahead. And yes, I know, the XF has a diesel engine as well, as does the XJ, but I can't part with the coupe form - and although I love the XJ, I think it is not the smartest idea to start a new job and have a bigger car than anybody else in the company (including the board).

So, it will be an intermediate for the next two, three years. Then it's open season again (for either the XJ, or the 2012 model year XK(R)).

You guys in here were a tremendous source of help, but it was also fun to follow each ones experiences with our favorite rides.
I will stay on and keep your fingers crossed for me, that I soon will be back with the "right" ride.

It's good to hear you've found help on the forum but sorry to hear the XK has to go.

Stick around and I hope it's not too long before you are back in a Jaguar.

Graham
