Vanity Plates

We're slightly restricted in the UK in our types of plate and the DVLA are pretty hot on ensuring that anything that could be insulting isn't on the roads
I bought my personal plate in 2006 and it cost £295, purely because my name is Mark and I live at no 16 and had an XK8
When filling up with propane (car was converted in 2005 and returned the equivalent of 60mpg in monetary terms) a little old lady limped up to me and asked
Q) Are you MI6 ex KGB?
A) Appreciate I was wearing a rather nice suit "Madam if I tell you I will most certainly have to kill you!"
It;s a legacy thing, I know I can buy M16 XKR for the same money but am sticking with the old one
Not that on the blue one the J had dropped off so I got a close matched SH to replace the J, was considering a union jack wrap...for all of 5 seconds
