Watch the Aston DB10 battle the Jaguar C-X75 on the historic streets of Rome.
I'm posting this in the X150 section because the original 850HP hybrid powerplant in this Jaguar C-X75 was swapped for the 550HPHP Supercharged 5.0L engine for the new James Bond movie. James Bond, of course, still drives the Aston and the villain is in the Jaguar.
"A new video has emerged from the set of Spectre, the 24th James Bond flick, giving us the first chance to see the Aston Martin DB10 in action. While that will be Bond’s ride for the movie, bad guy Mr. Hinx played by Dave Bautista, will have a Jaguar C-X75 to play with. The nighttime chase scene takes place in Rome, and from the action teased in the following clip, it has all the hallmarks of being one of the all-time great car chases. The DB10 is highly exclusive with only ten handmade units slated for production, all of which will be used in the film.
The car also reveals Aston’s new design language and is said to be a close preview of the DB9's replacement. As for the Jaguar C-X75, the cancelled million-dollar hybrid concept is arguably even rarer than the Aston, however the car’s original 850-powerplant was swapped out for Jag’s supercharged 5.0-liter V8."
