avincent 08-11-2011 12:41 PM

24 for me.

Stillwaters 08-11-2011 01:18 PM

I am averaging 23mpg and I drive pretty aggressively...:icon_bike:

dd823 08-11-2011 01:55 PM

All these are good considering what we drive

avincent 08-11-2011 04:22 PM

I have been driving pretty aggressively 24mpg is highway only, of course. In the city I am around 16mpg.

Cigar Guy 08-11-2011 09:51 PM

14...lol...around town, stop and go, short distance.

elindo 08-12-2011 05:12 PM

I drove it home (VA) from Minneapolis and averaged 30.1 mpg all highway.

dd823 08-12-2011 07:23 PM

You can't ask any better then that

07XKJaguar 08-12-2011 09:32 PM

24 for me as well. I'm sure if I didn't "play" like I do, I could get better. But it sounds so good and runs great, it's hard for me not to.

24 on interstate road trips, 80ish mph. '08 XKR.

That seems quite reasonable to me for a 420hp automobile.

chazaroo 08-17-2011 07:26 AM

Yesterday, Port St Lucie to Ft Lauderdale 100.2 miles, average speed 71.6. Mileage: 29.2!

TRidder 08-17-2011 01:11 PM

Hutchinson, KS to Dallas, TX all interstate at 70-80 mph and I got 24 mpg. Day to day driving to work etc.. about 14.

Tim

Cigar Guy 08-18-2011 10:06 PM

Update: on the roadtrip right now, best so far has been 28.9 in the XK average 70mph

Frogdogfan 08-18-2011 10:56 PM

2011 XKR175: Best was 25.6 with cruise set at 65 on a 100 mile trip. Overall average has been 19 in a mix of city and highway. If I drive it hard around town, it still gets about 15-16...pretty impressive for 510 hp. Normal highway mileage is about 22 ("normal" around here is 75-80 mph in light traffic).

Cigar Guy 08-21-2011 04:21 PM

Just back from a road trip to Chicago, 2500 miles round trip, 80mph ave...29 MPG... this I cannot complain...07 XK

Highway driving - 25-26mpg averaging around 60 (a little light traffic but a lot of cruising over 70). Had it up to 28mpg+ a few weeks back without any traffic driving 65-80 mph on a 10 mile highway stretch.

City driving around 14-17 depending on how I drive :)

My average as daily driver door to door is 18mpg as I don't tend to hit much open freeway. If I do have open freeway as part of my commute, not a problem to hit 19-21mpg door to door.

I think these cars do fantastic think about what we are driving LOVE IT.
