Where can I source a clip holder for tailgat lining?
https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.jag...b8311b7ac2.jpg My Indy tells me I can't buy one separatly so have to buy the whole liner which costs around £350! Only one is missing so I don't want to buy a whole new liner It's glued on to the liner so I hoped they where available but that's not happening. No car in Sweden at a car scrap and have asked around on Ebay those who have a tailgate for sale if they still have the liner but with no luck. Anybody know if any other cars have the same type of lining fastener? |
Me, I used some JB Weld to hold my pins in place while placed in the not-worthy holders which are also JB Welded in place. Sure, it looks kinda ghetto when the liner is off, but then again EVERYTHING looks ghetto with the liner off.

check this site as well. They have tons of stuff. You may be able to find something that works:

You can make one in about 10 minutes. It does not have to be plastic.
But as others have pointed out, this is a very common clip on many vehicles, it wont look the same but it will function the same. What you may have to do is nylon weld it on to a larger piece of nylon first to give you more surface area for final adhesion. Use nylon welding to adhere to carpet too. |
