Will 20‘ Takoba Rims fit my Xk?
Hi all!
I bought my 2011 XK 5.0l NA with 19‘ Tamana rims. I now have an offer to buy for approx. USD 1500 used 20‘ Takoba rims that were installed on a XKR 5.0l before.
1. Will these 20 Takobas fit plug&play on my car?
2. was it possible to order the XK from factory with 20’ Takobas? I am asking this because this may have an impact as to whether they will be seen as road legal on my car in my country.
Any other precautions I would need to make if I buy these used Takobas for my car?
The Intention would be to use one rim set with summer tires and the other one with winter tires fitted.

I did a bit more research on this. It seems that my current 19‘ Tamana have offset 51 whereas the 20‘ Takoba have offset front 49 and 46 rear. Does anybody know if this is correct and still means that the Takobas would easily fit my car?
Less offset means that the Takobas would be positioned a little bit further away from the center of the vehicle, right?

FYI, here are the Takobas on my 2010 with 15mm spacers at all corners.

Thanks! Will be looking better once I get my Speedpack F/R Spoilers and R-S Rocker Panels painted! I keep getting sidetracked from finding a good paint guy I can trust, I am relatively new to the area and I hate finding/breaking in new paint guys.LOL

There is one on eBay, little pricey but it is an OEM spoiler so fitting wouldn’t be an issue...

FYI, pretty sure the 2012-up has alignment holes for the Leaper that is standard on 2012-up. Due to this you have no choice but to run a leaper, or have the holes filled.

Wrong year, that is for 2012-up, note the lack of GPS ant on the hatch just in front of the spoiler. Cee Jay needs the 2010-2011 version, it is the only one that is plug and play. There are a few threads here discussing the difference due to the multiple antennas in the 2012 wing, IIRC tis will cause a connector issue when installing on a 2010-2011

Also, now that I look at that 2014 salvage, would there be a difference in the spoiler between a coupe and a convertible? Taking a closer look at that rear hatch, it appears to be more 'slopey' on the top of the deck than my convert. What I don't know is if it is an actual difference, or just appearance. Of course, maybe THAT was the problem with the Mina spoiler I bought; designed from and built for a Coupe. Then again, the CHMSL didn't fit for a damn either.
I'm getting old, can't remember as well as I used to.

Also no worries about Cab/Coupe Spoiler fitment, same part number for both. I have never seen anywhere Official or non-official that denoted a difference or a different part number.
I will keep my eyes open for another correct one for you, and only you! :-)

Dave, let me know when you are ready to sell those wheels. I’m still liking my Oronas with the 20mm up front. Great stance for now... Takoba wheels will be my next step when I replicate the black pak options.
