xkr catalytic converter purchase rather than main dealer
seems a cat for the 2007 supercharged xk engine can only be got through jag dealers. One of mine is gone , thers's a bit of a jingle noise. Have phoned a few places such as catman in uk, but no joy. Does anyone know a uk supplier who could supply one. Main deaer price is shocking. I was going to fit each side, incase the other one would not be working as good as the new fitted cat.

Milltek do high-flow cats for the XK and XKR, not sure if they fit with the standard exhaust system or if you need to change it for their system, worth asking. I checked SNG Barratt UK website just now, they charge £773 per side for the cat sections but obviously that's just for the parts...

thanks 8bit, the previous owner fitted a rear sport box similar to paramount and there is only one middle silencer , cats are factory. Noise is nice and loud but has toned down a bit since cat went. Factory ones probably will do, milltek would be very expensive i would say. Can you get me a part numbers for each cat side if possible, cheers.

C2P22887 for the right-hand side one and C2P22888 for the left. I'd double-check with wherever you buy from that those parts match your VIN number though. I found those numbers and prices here - SNG Barratt - The Ultimate Jaguar Parts Specialist
Might be worth Googling the part numbers too, in case somewhere else sells them cheaper.
