I'd NEVER bid anything for that particular car as I noticed what tires are on it. No sir, not even one dollar.

Love my ACC... Had it on my XK, and refused to buy my XKR without it.

Its always a frustration to me that Jaguar didnt offer a true sunroof. I think this is the first car I've ever owned where it wasn't at least an factory option.

?Alpine CD changer in the trunk? lol

So I guess you'd burn my car down with its Delinte Tires on it!

+1 on ACC! It helps to keep me from attracting blue lights.

Probably no fire in the future, as Delinte Tires have never tried (unsuccessfully and deliberately) to kill me.

Ok, I'm curious, how did Michelins try to kill you?

That sunroof does not match the curve in the roof. I bet that it looks like the flat spot an apple gets when it's bruised. No matter how well it may be installed, that's something I'd see every time I looked at the car and couldn't live with that. Shame, because otherwise it looks like a decent car with a very pleasant color combo.

I'll PM, other members would ban me if I started this all again, off-topic.

Essentially a new 'eco friendly" bio-degradable tire technology came out several years ago, and proved to be a little too...degradable.

Looks like the last bid is from a dealership. "They knows a good deal when they sees one." $14,250 with 2 hours left.

Ha! My 96 Mercedes had biodegradable wiring insulation. What a stupid idea!

Agreed. Out of curiosity, I ran a KBB estimate on it, which showed the vehicle being worth roughly $21K. Seems like a steal at that price, but I have no need to for it and don't feel like trying to buy-n-flip such a 'unique' vehicle.

It is a sort of unconventional to sell the same car twice with the same add...

Not exactly what would be trust inducing.

Unfortunately, or fortunately depending upon your point of view, none of the participants in this old thread actually had anything to do with the installation of the sunroof.

There's a reason the factory never offered a sunroof as an option on the X150 coupe. I suspect a sunroof would compromise structural integrity and result in failing crash / rollover tests.

The factory addressed X150 convertible rollover protection by including as standard equipment automatic pop-up rollover protection hoops behind the rear seats. Do they work? I'm not willing to find out but, even if they do, I believe that they won't suffice for any racetrack.

I bought a roll over 2007 XK crash from a salvage yard in Florida in 2017 which had both crash roll bars activated and locked out. Worked well for that rollover and would have no reason to believe that they would not be just as effective on anyone else's mishap.
