xkr wont start

2014 XKR wont start with charged battery, thought maybe smartkey battery and changed also, still dead.
At first I had lights then charged battery full, now nothing.

OK what is the voltage at the battery. Is it 12.6V or better. If so do a reset by removing the positive and negative terminals from the battery and then touch them together for 10-20 seconds. Then reattach and see what you have. Also how did you charge the battery and with what type of charger.

does it crank or getting no response at all when pressing start ?

If you pumped the brakes trying to start it, you may have pressure already in the brake lines, so try 'standing' on the brake pedal while holding down the 'start' button. I mean it, really put your foot into that brake pedal.

Define what's wrong with it better. Does the interior lamps light up when you open the door? If yes, does anything light up when you hit the start button?

WAG says loose battery terminals but don't have enough info to go off of.

Really need some details. I'm about 40 minutes away if you really need help with it.

There's an offer I've rarely seen on the forum. :icon_beerchug:
