advice for new tires for my xk120

I need advice on new tires for my xk120. The Firestone 600-16 Nylon tires were on the machine when I purchased it in 1979, I'm certain they're over 40 years old. I'm not sure if I should go the Radial tire with tubes, of the Coker tire, either Radial or their original equiipment belted tire. I don't race and drive extremely conservatively. I'm working on the brakes and will need tires shortly. Thanks again for any help.

All I can say is I just installed the NEW "MICHELIN" pilote x Radials that look bias ply on my 1952 ASTON MARTIN DB2.
They will completey transform the car!
Now I'm talking to jag owners so hold on tight......
Each tire is around 355 dollars U.S. then add the tube and ban.
You can get $ 110 tires, but IMHO, Ive driven it all and if your going to drive around the block, safety and quality is a must.
YOU WONT GO WRONG WITH THE ABOVE. IMHO you can see them at the Amelia Island Concourse. Good luck either way. GTJOEY1314
Forgot They are from Coker tire as well and Corky is a great guy!
