Brake Calipers Pitted, need help
Good day fellow jaguar fans, I'm redoing all suspension and brakes a cooling system and I'm at the brake calipers and I'm replacing the fronts with Wilwoods. They don't seem to make a kit for the rears. As I'm taking the rears apart one piston was really stuck. With some heat I was able to get it apart and found the inner cylinder is very pitted. Is there a way to repair what I have? There doesn't seem to be many option for a replacement. Some help would be great.

Or you could replace it with the later caliper with square pads as used on the saloons too. This assumes you have the caliper that has the round pads and needs a strip down just to replace the pads, (not a very service-friendly arrangement !!). However, you'll have to search around to find the parts, although the piston and cylinder assemblies are available brand-new, and even in stainless steel !!
