No roll bar? No problem. Why would you want a roll bar mucking up the gorgeous lines of a 1951 Jaguar XK-120 anyways? Well, if you're racing at the Goodwood Revival, you wouldn't.

Some bloke in a racing suit, crash helmet and harness doesn't do much for me but ......

Always worth an opportunity to revive this one!

Ah, thank you. Lovely commercial. It reminds me of a time when I was in school and having a conversation with an owner about the 120, and being told that if a 120 was stuck in traffic you could count off the seconds on your watch until it blew.

Ah.....as to your contribution commercial......I was 19 and drove my first car, a 1957 (then 17 years old) XK140 DHC and at the time had a girlfriend that looked very much like the model in the commercial. We/I had more wonderful adventures together in my 140 than there is time to tell about or type. You'll have to use your imagination to fill in the blanks and then add about 50 to 100% to that. Wonderful, wonderful times!

A friend of mine drove E-types in the 70s and once said to me, apropos girls, they often would say "you flash basta*rd with that car of yours......where are we going" !!
