I've been out of the scene for awhile but that seems to be a tad high?

Hard to say. Value is always subjective. Knowing the cars, I can say that the market estimates are commensurate with the overall quality of the cars and the correctness of the restorations. All three cars have been shown and judged as among the best examples out there.

I would also add that there is a "rising tide" at work in the market. In my opinion, the XK120s and 140s have been undervalued and underappreciated in the market of late. The prices on E-Types at auction have exploded in the past couple of years, and that has had an effect on 120 and 140 values. As the prices of E-Types have risen, so have the prices on the very best examples of the 120s and 140s. However, there is a wide range in values relative to condition and options.

Regardless, all three cars are selling at "no reserve" so the buyers will be the final arbitrator of value.

That's a pretty fair assessment.
