XK120 Roadster (1954) Horn Assembly

I have a loose horn assemble within the steering wheel. Bounces around now. Can anyone inform me the steps to remove the horn button, ect., so as to tighten whe assembly within the steering wheel?
many thanks in advance!!

Dave look for the grub screws that hold the assy. in. Perhaps you just need to tighten them. Do you have a WSM?

Hi George,

do do not have the WSM. Question, is the horn button held in place with spring clip type fingers, so it can be removed by prying?

Thanks!

Pardon the poor english... I do not have a WSM. There are two set screws (outside of steering wheel base, interior to wheel spokes), which are slotted pointed set screws. Are these the "Grub Screws" or are the "Grub Screws" internal (steering wheel hub)?

Thanks!

Those are the grub screws---back them out and you can remove the horn assy. Do not pry anything--you will regret it $$$$$!
