I was wondering if the 03 stereo/navi from a S-type fit my 99 XK8. I hate having my GPS and wires hanging all over when I'm using it.

 

The s-type is a fiber optic based audio system, plus integrates the climate control functions on the radio/nav screen. It looks physically and elctronically impractical.

I am assuming you do not have the factory navigation. If this is true, an aftermarket headunit, with nav screen might be worth considering (like the Pioneer AVIC series).

A simpler alternative is just to get a Kuda mount and wire your power adapter hidden inside permanently: KUDA mount and holder JAGUAR - XK (97-06)
