Default 1998 XK8 Parking Brake Hole Plug

I recently adjusted the parking brakes on my '98 XK8 and there was not plug in either adjusting hole. I was told it should be a rubber plug but I have not been able to fine one anywhere.

I did contact Terry's Jaguar Parts and they said it was a Plug-Blanking P/N JZD100020. The parts I received are metal with what appears to be a small band fastened to the disk which I believe is intended to serve as a handle for insertion and removal.

I checked with Terry's and they said it is the right part but I do not see how it will stay in the adjusting hole. Any input on whether this is a correct plug and if not, does anyone know where I can get the correct plug.

Thanks

I believe the small band actually goes inside the hole and acts as a spring clamp to hold the plug in. I just put a PC of duct tape over mine.
