Default 200 amp alternator

Ive contacted the company via ebay that made my 200 amp alternator for my lexus. They can make one for the jag for 225. I was going to ask in advance if this would be too much for the 2001 xk8. I have a sound system 1000w rms 2 12 jl 12w3 sounds great already and dont have too much of a drain according to the battery gauge. They can build me whatever amperage I require they have been building them since the 60s. The company is bnr auto parts I think. I had an optima along with the jag crane battery and I think the 100 amp alt had trouble charging both. Its loud enough already im just looking for stability. If you guys think 150 or 180 is enough I can get that as well. They build the alternators. The one I put in my lexus when I had 4 12s really woke my system up. I was draining down to the 11s and with that 200 amp alt from bnr ac on fog lights every accessory on didnt drop be low 12.5 on idle it was awesome. The gauge on the jag never goes to 12. At full volume with headlights on I drop to 12.5. I think it would be a nice upgrade for the system especially because I plan on adding another amp to power the interior speakers. The bass is great even in the trunk people think I have 2 15s it quakes so loud. I like loud music im 23 and I know one day I will probably regret it but the jag is a really solid car and I have no rattling from the interior whatsover just clean crisp sounding bass. I just want to know if it would be ok for the jags electronics. The lexus was fine I didnt have to modify anything. I also had two optimas red top up front for starting and yellow for the system. Im not looking to have all that atrocious bass what I have is fine but I imagine when I add another amp for the interior speakers I will have to provide more charging power.
Thanks
Joel

Well I contacted a supplier that has provided me upgraded alternators for my other cars off of Ebay as well. He said he could do 200 amps for around $200 or so. Im going for it as my alternator just took a permanent vacation. What I thought was me running over a garbage bag and melting on my exhaust was my alternator going bad. Its amazing all of the strange things Jaguars do and don't do when running low on voltage. Anyway I will update once installed..% fuse boxes...REALLY!

I never went through with the alternator upgrade I was concerned it could be too much for the stock wiring however my lexus was just fine. I'd like to know your results and which vendor on ebay you purchased the alternator from
