2006 XK Roof/Overhead Console
 

Curious to know if there is a work around for attaching the console with a broken front clip. My car is convertible however I assume the consoles are the same with or without a top, and I suspect this is a common issue. I replaced the pictured clip and would think that sufficient to hold up the console... with a little rigged support. Appreciate an guidance.
