The front right bearing needs replacing on my XK8 and whilst I have access to the special ABS nut removal tool, a very strong bench and a 20T press to remove the actual bearing, I also see that I can buy an aftermarket whole hub assembly (in the UK) for <£100 with a 2yr warranty so it can't be that rubbish - even though it is from ECP or similar.

Has anyone used one of these units?

Also does anyone have the part number for the whole assembly as I'd be happy with SKF or similar kit.

If I was going after an UPGRADE, I would find a salvage vertical link from a 1999MY (VIN 031303) onward.
The bearing size was increased from 76mm to 80mm and the link/hub is interchangeable with the earlier cars.

I edited my original post as I was looking at the whole hub assembly's on ebay and thinking I might as well get the 80mm version, but looking again they all claim to fit my car, but bear no relation to the vertical link that appears to be a single piece, so abandoned that idea!
I'll just replace the bearing, as I say I have access to the kit I need once I get the vertical link off.
