Adamesh Fibreglass Tonneau Cover

Has anybody out there got one of these jaguar xk | body styling | jaguar body styling I would like any feeback, further pictures before I commit to buying one.

It looks like the best aftermarket addition you could make, in terms of aesthetic.

I just have 1 question.

Can you store it in the car?

Meaning, if you head out on a trip with that, and get caught by a rainstorm, what do you do with that when you need to put the top up?

Andy,

This is directly from the link supplied:

The cover comes in 2 pieces and can be fitted or removed easily within a few minutes. The 2 pieces are made of fibreglass and are light in weight (approximately 6 lb) which can be stored in the boot of the car or behind the front seats, in the leatherette pouches that are supplied.

Ah, those witty Brits think of everything.

I'm not sure how I read through that link and missed that. Maybe the term "boot" threw me...

As always with a Jag cool but I bet it costs a fortune. Have you priced it yet? Never mind. Almost $1000.00 USD painted and delivered. After closer look don't think I like it either. Doesn't look factory but that's just my opinion.

Looks too Batmobile-ish.

want. Top down all the time, garaged, other choices to drive when the weather is threatening, want, want, want.....

I really like the one Paramount Performance and Arden used to offer. It was by far the nicest style. Jaxkr has that style and he recovered it in leather. It's very nice. The others just look a bit odd to me and they are all too expensive for me to seriously consider one.

Here is Jaxkr's cover:

What I like most about my XK8 is the touches of retro in the styling that give the car a real classic convertible feel. The standard Jag cover adds to that style so an add on like this one just makes the car something it was never meant to be. Just my opinion of course.

I have another of the Paramount tonneau boots for sale. It is painted not covered in leather. If you are interested please let me know.

Jaxkr

Does it fold up to put in the boot/Trunk and what colour is it painted?

Here is a photo of mine from the rear, showing the 3 sections. The panels all store in the trunk. I can't think of the color but it is a blue grey possibly quartz.

That's the one I want Jaxkr. Looks like it was made by Jag.

Adamesh cover...

I have a pair of the Adamesh covers... I use them all the time. Pop the trunk, pull on the 2 tenax fasteners, put one in the trunk and one in the back seat, takes less than 30 seconds. Or use the supplied bags and take your time, 2 minutes. I have pictures of my car in the gallery. Bought them when our dollar (canadian) was higher 2 or 3 years ago... cost me shipped $700. Had them painted here for free by a friend who has a body shop, but could have had them done for $200. Maybe not everyones "cup of tea" but I really like mine.

Your Adamesh covers look awesome, they really give the car a finished look of a great sports car. If Jag offered them as an option it would have cost at least $2500.00

I absolutely agree! Now if someone made one that was more like the standard and not so "batmobile-ish" I might be interested...

JAXKR Tonneau cover

Where can I get the tonneau cover like JAXKR pictured by K. Westra please? It is by far the nicest I've seen. I have the 2004 Jupiter Red Portfolio one of one hundred boosted to 500 hp. That cover would top it off. Thanks.

Locate tonneau like yours?

Hi Jax, Where can I purchase a tonneau just like yours please? I have found a different type at Mina Gallery and others but they don't please me. Thanks for your direction.
