Is it a alien craft?---No it's a XKR
Had to pass this one one for fun. My wife took the R into a SpeeDee Oil Change for the yearly NC state inspection---no way are they changing my oil. She comes back home telling me about all these guys working there gathered around the car staring at it like it just flew in from a distant solar system. She couldn't understand why it took so long to get the inspection since she had just taken in the Honda Pilot with no delay. I just laughed trying to tell her the difference between those of us from Mars and the other half from Venus. I love driving this car around Asheville which is not very big----I've been asked if it was a Aston or maybe a Maserati to--- what the heck is that thing? That's why I didn't buy a Porsche, Vette or MB. Of course, I owned a Datsun 1600 roadster in college and everyone asked me the same questions back then.

I took my car over to the UK last week for a major service (cheaper than in France, where Jag dealers are few & far between) and on the way back home I stayed the night at my uncle's house. They live on the Wentworth Estate where the PGA Golf Championship is held. House prices on the estate are generally between $5 and $20 million+ and the golf club car park is full of BMW X5s, X6s, Bentleys, Astons, etc, but as I drove through in my lowly 2005 XKR, heads were turning in admiration
