Default Any XK8 Owners Have JTIS Running on Windows 10 ?

This weekend we replaced our gradually-dying desktop running Windows 7 with a new more powerful desktop that came with Windows 10. As I feared, I could not get my JTIS CD to successfully install on it. Neither could Microsoft tech support....

Does anyone have JTIS successfully running on Windows 10? If so, how did you do it?

It does run but both my win 10 were software upgrades from win8.1 where the initial install was. If you look at the sticky I used a USB stick, this works you just have to have the DAO file installed on target machine per directions.

I'd look into finding a way to run a Windows 7 virtual machine on your new 10 box, and run JTIS inside of that (plus all your banking and sensitive stuff- way safer).

Mac users like myself could use Boot Camp and have Windows 7 dual-booted for the same objective, but haven't done so quite yet because they're still trying to find a good replacement for the Snipping Tool first...

Runs fine on my Windows 10. You can tell windows to run the programme as XP but I haven't had to set that.

woox4,

So how do you have JTIS running on your Windows 10 without any software or system modifications? I cannot get JTIS to load, much less run....

You need to register the version of DAO360.dll that comes in the package and move it to:
c:/program files(x86)\common files\Microsoft shared\DAO
See install thread for details.

Once you do that you can extract and install the files on any partition,
I chose to use a thumb drive so I can keep it in my car, hence when I travel I always have the jtis avail to use on someones computer.

Thanks for the additional details. I'm probably not computer-savvy enough to figure this out but I'll try to get some local help so we can at least take a look at this....
