Default Battery drain - Diagnostic Port

If you have one of these neat BlueTooth devices for running Torque Android .......

............. then don't leave it plugged into the OBD2 Diagnostic Port with the vehicle parked up for a few days.

I left mine connected over the Easter weekend and the battery was too far down to start the vehicle this morning. The Diagnostic Port has a permanent live feed so the BT adapter was powered on even with the vehicle locked.

It is also the ideal connector if you want to connect some sort of solar charging system.
That is if we ever get any sun here in the UK!
