Best touch-up SPRAY paint for XK8?

Automotivetouchup.com sells matched spray paint $20, but there might be better options out there. I have a Sapphire blue XK8 btw and I need it for a sanded part of my front bumper.

I know brush touch up paint has been discussed before and Dr Color chip got the most recs: Dr.ColorChip Custom Automotive Touch-Up Paint Kit - Dr. ColorChip: Automotive Paint Chip Repair Systems (their page is down for some reason).

I have same color and car. Dr colorchip does not work on the jag grey primer spots. It may work on a sanded bumper, but doesnt stay on the primer chips. They even say it in there website somewhere. I just ordered automotive touchup for my 2 little chips to see if that will work. We will see.

I would try it. Worse case, get bumper resprayed

Hey guys I know this was really old posts. How did you make out with the touch up paints, did you get reasonable match?

Regarding touch up paint and spray, in England my local Halfords shop managed to mix up a touch up pen and spray for my Antigua Blue XK8 with a perfect match. The chap spent a long time researching the paint code and mixed it up perfectly. I have a few minor rust issues but these have been resolved and painted and the car is noew ready for the show season

I finally found a place that would custom mix to a spray can about 20 miles out from the city. Haven't tested it yet but hope it works. Paint line is Nason a Dupont company that is supposedly Dupont's best paint formulas from about 10 yrs ago.
Funny when I lived in a town of about 3K people 30 years ago the autoparts store did it, now in a town of almost a million none to be had. I think it is the throw away mentality of today.

Sorry I saw this too late to help you. There is a Sherwin Williams Automotive Finishes paint store on East MLK. A few years back they mixed some spray cans for me to match color for a VW New Beetle. Don't know if that could match for a Jag.

Here is a company that I've used before. They make touchup bottles of paint as well as a very fine spray can touch up paint. Jaguar Touch Up Paint | AutomotiveTouchup
