Default Cheap wheel center cap covers, anyone buy these?

Mixed reviews on Ebay, but I bought a set, put them on this morning. The originals were falling off, and a bit boring as they were simply silver. Some of the reviews on these said they do not stick well, so I used a bit of JB Weld on each. Thoughts?

I bought a A/M set also and had to add a touch of adhesive due to loose fit. Took my OEM and refinished in silver & green (had to disassemble to paint). They OEM look great now. Took awhile but worth the effort

I go through a set every year or so. They seem to fade quickly, but they are a cheap easy way to change the look of your wheels.

What's going to happen the next time you need to
get the tires balanced?

The cheap Chinese knock offs fade really quickly (a few months) in direct sun but at that price does it matter?

i bought a set of green for my 97 . have not faded yet.but to be honest i have not ben happy with with them. almost sent them back. after sitting on my desk for a while i finaly put them on just to fill the hole. after looking arround i found the orignals for 18.00 each and plan to replace them . the orignals look so much better. i did not have to glue mine in the fit was tight. just like the look of the factory ones .

Referring to the use of JB Weld in the hole.

The same hole that fits over the wheel balancer,
which must be clean to get a good balance.

If the JB Weld is in the wrong place, scraping it
off is going to be great gobs of fun.

Yeah, no JB in the hole. The wheels have black plastic center caps that fill (clip) the hole, the OEM Jaguar cap cover is simply stuck on to the plastic center caps, just like these after market ones. Maybe a better picture of them so you get the idea.

When I first got the Jag it was missing 2 wheel caps. I bought 2 OEM caps at $29 each and all four were promptly stolen.

Replaced them with ebay caps 4/$18 they are still there and look new 3 years later. Mine didn't require glue

A little silicone works great even with the tabs broken off. With JB weld it may be a permanent installation.

Some of you are confusing a decal that adheres to the cap vs. a whole new cap! I tried decals first but the domed decal wouldn't secure properly. I then bought E bay caps. Two caps were loose in the wheel center. I wrapped electrical tape around the circumference and now they're secure and will pop right off on the next balance.
