Default Connections, shorts and sparkle

I try to be funny with titles but the only person laughing is the other guy in my head.......

I have a Land Rover which for some "odd" reason suffers from many of the same electrical gremlins as do the Jag.

I hope this helps others here....

I use WD-40 over the entire motor, underbody, etc. nearly every place there is no pant.

it wipes away clean, loosens dirt, displaces water and most of all keeps connectors clean and oxidation free.

I spray until it drips off, Even on the motor, the hot spost of the motors will cook it off with NO flames only light smoke.

this advice was given to me many years ago by an old mechanic.

I have NEVER seen it eat up or weaken hoses or belts or gaskets or wires etc.

I used to race sidecars, the trend at one time was not to paint the chassis as any cracking was easier to see.
The normal care procedure was to spray the chassis (and everything else) with WD40, certainly didn't seem to do any harm.

It works well. the best thing is that it inihibits corrosion.
