Here's a picture of the 1999 XK8 with 58,000 miles that I just purchased on Saturday down in West Palm Beach. On the run back to North Central Florida it ran flawlessly and gave me 24.6 mpg and put a smile on my face.

My wife wants to trade me the XJ8 I bought for her about 18 months ago which goes to show that the green eyed monster never sleeps<G>

Congratulations, looks great. I'd bet you had some "foot stomping" time on your way back, because if I'm careful (which rarely happens) I get close to 26-28mpg on my 150,000 mile 2002 XKR. And in many ways, I enjoy my 2002 more than my 2010 coupe. Enjoy!

Great looking car! I bought a 2000 XK8 with the same mileage and a similar condition. Did someone replace or augment the original grille with a mesh one? Looks very cool.
