door jamb labels
 

Hello Fellow XK8 owners

i am after a bit of info regarding "door Jamb labels"

i have a 2002 4lt XK8 coupe and i am trying to find out if there should be any
Jaguar labels on the door Jambs with such info as paint and trim codes

i only have "airbag" labels
if they are not on the door jambs where else would i find them ?

any help would be much appreciated

My yr 2000 XK8 4.0L Coupe has a label on the rear face of the nearside (uk) door opening giving paint and trim codes etc.

Here are my labels.

however it looks like i shall have to do without these labels as it would seem they are no longer available

what a bummer

It wouldn't be that difficult for one of us to take a high resolution photograph and then doctor it to match the information for your car. Then it would just be a matter of printing on sticker paper and coating it with a nice clear coat for longevity. It probably isn't good enough for a concourse style car judge, but it would get the job done.

I need to obtain a replacement door jam sticker and whilst I have the paint and trim codes, I'm unsure as to what the EX relates to on Kevin's door sticker shown in this link!
Can anyone please advise?
Stupidly I didn't note down all of the info on mine before I had the door pillar repainted and didn't notice if there was anything in the bottom right box!
