Default Driver seat is stuck and will not move. Tried the usual suspects.

Within an hour of getting the car home for the first time ( bought used ) my wife moved the driver seat forward to suit her and the seat stopped. Now it will not adjust, go up nor lumbar support. SO, I searched the forums here. First I disconnected the battery for 15 minutes, plugged it back in, didnt work. Then, I disconnected it again, swapped the control modules, and the driver side worked on the passenger side. Looked at all the wiring I could see, and then checked fuses with an ohm meter. Nothing, and the seat will still not move. Everything else works. Any ideas? I'd love to get the seat out to check things. I can see two torks screw per side in front. If I loosen them will I bet the seat up high enough to be able to see anything? And where are the rear bolts for the seat anyway? Seems like this is a common problem. And what size are those torks screws? Thanks!

Make sure you check the connection socket front right side of seat. I brought mine too far forward and it died. Was about to take seat out but stuck my head under and saw the connection had pulled out just a bit. Reconnection mate all right.

Will do, what does it look like? There is a lot under there!

There's 2 on each rail. Follow the rails to the back and you'll see the equivalent torx fixings there. I recall the ones on my 2005 XK8 were M8. I doubt you can raise the front of the seat with the rear torx in place and not bend the rails.
