DSC won’t go away.
 

Got a 2003 XK8. DSC light came on. Went to a British auto specialist in my area. They checked the wheel sensors and wires. Reflashed the anti lock module. Gave it back to me with two more lights on. Anti lock and check engine.
Took it to another Indy that specializes in British cars. Changed all four wheel sensors and checked the wiring to them. Installed a used module. Nothing changed. Got them another module. Same thing no change. Brand new battery.
Any ideas before I set fire to it?

Go to a shop that can read Jag specific codes and report the actual codes here before you let them touch anything. There should be specific codes for your problem and it should be easy to repair. I think you have been ripped off by incompetent people.

Not to step on any of the other advice, just an fyi. I had a failed rear wheel bearing cause this once.

And you would likely have a C1165 or C1175 as the DTC that would lead you directly to a fault in the rear wheel speed sensor circuit(s).
There are ways to determine a DSC or ABS problem without an actual DTC but it sure speeds up a diagnosis if you get the actual codes.

Up date. Code is C1145. Tried reflashing the anti brake module. Then two used ones. Four new wheel sensors. Checked wires for a break. Nothing seems to work.

I had that code. Try unplugging the RF wheel sensor, twist 360 degrees and plug it back in. It sounds ridiculous, but it worked for me.

If you replace the link harness to the RF wheel speed sensor I think you will fix your problem.
The link harnesses become 'intermittent' and set the DTC you describe.

More than likely, the lead from the sensor to the rest of the harness has to be repaired. There is probably an intermittent break that passes a basic continuity check, but manifests itself with suspension movement. Depending on your VIN, the part may or may not be available (the early model is NLA) and the catalog does not say the later part "supersedes" the earlier one. The alternative is to check Rockauto and buy the connectors alone and "make" your own cable, transferring all the rubber bits from the old cable.

Other option is that is actually is a break in the lead from the fender to the control module. You might have to trace it and check it all out. Maybe even run a temporary bypass pair of wires.

Have you tried wire brushing your reluctor ring? Could be a simple case of dirt/rust between that and the ABS sensor?

This was mine being soaked in oil before being removed and replaced. Rather rusty and dirty.
