Exterior Door Handles

I have a black 2006 XKR that has no chrome on the car except for the door handles, the handles look a little out of place to me. Does anyone manufacture black door handles? Was this even an option from the factory?

I think body-coloured was standard - my black XK8 has black handles. Are you sure the chrome isn't a cover that is just stuck over the original door handles?

My black '97 has chrome handles. I don't know if they were an add-on or from the factory.

I believe that all US cars have chrome door handles, and European spec are body colour.

I have no idea why.

Unfortunately it's not a cover.

Mine are also chrome, I have an '04. I also had an '00 that had them as well. I don't think I have ever seen body colored ones this side of the pond.
