Default It feels like Xmas :D

My oil cooler lines and drivers door switch-pack arrived from SNGBarratt this morning. My windblocker arrived from Cabrio Supply this afternoon. I got my brake pads from RockAuto 2 days ago and expect my rotors from WrenchMonkey tomorrow. All I need now is for the temperature to rise a couple of degrees so it's fit to work out in the garage

It'll feel like a bad hangover day when the credit card statement arrives.

You're going to be out in the garage for a few days fitting that lot.

I sold my 2003 Mazda MX5 for $3000 less than I paid for my 2004 XK8. So so the Jag "cost" me about $3000. So far I figure that I have spent about $2200 in parts ( of which $500+ was entirely discretionary ). I do most of my own work and after this winter's "capital costs" I should only need regular maintenance items for some years to come.

I have dreamed of owning a Jaguar since the first time I saw an E-Type in the 60s.....now I have one for an investment of less than $6000. That seems pretty cheap to me. I'm happy

PS all prices are $Cdn

Sometimes it's nice to spend some quality time with the Jag. The oil cooler lines don't sound like much fun though !

I have not replaced any before, but with the wheel arch liners removed and the bumper undertray removed, it actually does not look like too bad a job. I'll keep you posted.
