Found -new 2006 for sale -

While searching the internet to see what current values are (something I do periodically just to see what the market is like) I stumbled across this...

- If anyone wants a new 2006 model check out the link, there may be a collector out there somewhere but really? KBB suggested retail is $43,000

Yah, I ran across that on cars.com also. I suppose they need to recoup their cost so asking for the invoice price. I wonder if they couldn't just lease it like a new car, surely someone may like the older style, but get the dealer warranty on this car? (if they even WOULD do it)

$70K for a 4-5 year old car? That ad didn't show the mileage. I'm assuming it's really low. But still, $70K???

It sure is purrrrty though :)

Wow this has been posted forsale for many months now!

They will never sell it for that price. They might as well take a loss now rather then even a greater one later.

Add says 19 miles on it and full warranty.

I would like to get hold of the person that will pay that price for the car so that I can offer him a bridge that I happen to have.:icon_wink:

Wow, that is crazy. Beautiful car, but get real. I wonder what the story is, why they have a bran new '06 sitting around?

I'm thinking that there must have been some sort of litigation. Someone bought it, put some money down, then for some reason; death, divorce, bankruptcy...., it's fate was subject to litigation. They probably have to list it for the original price for a period of time to attempt to mitigate some debt, and then, after the specified period of time, the price can go down to actually try to sell it.

I love our generation of cars, but if I was going to drop $69k it would be for this car (a 2010 XKR coupe with 22,000 miles on it):

I don't think you can argue against 510 bhp...

No doubt - HP can make up for looks and the new interiors are really nice.
