Front End Noise
#21
Hey guys!
Yep, it was the sway arm bushings. I had to bring in the car for an inspection and asked the shop to check out all the front end bushings and shock mounts. Ordered up the parts (along with 2 new steering rack bushings) and changed them all out in the driveway and she's been running smooth and clunk-free ever since

My bet is still shock mounts. Especially now that I read about them being replaced 10 years ago and having 68K on them. If an independent shop did the work they most likely installed those crap URO mounts that PartsGeek and others peddle.
Everything will feel tight even when the bushings are pancaked.
Just measure the ride height from front wheel centers to fender arch. I bet you are at less than 15 inches. If so then bingo!

That is what i originally thought also but the measurement ended up being 15.75 inches
