I have been searching every where for the plastic hex nut covers that fit over the three mounting bolts on the XK8 front dampers. Any help is appreciated.

 

Seen a few threads on this topic and the small plastic parts aren’t easily available. Salvage fort a scrap car is probably your best hope.

Last recent thread I saw, someone ended up using a yoghurt pot! Yep- a yoghurt pot! LOL! He did paint it though.

 

The later models like my 2004 had no covers on the shock mount nuts at all.

Maybe because of the Active Dampers?

 

You should be able to just get rubber bolt caps from a hardware store. They would just be push on

 

Thanks for the quick reply and suggested option but I am trying to match the other nut covers on the vehicle. Kind of **** huh?
