Fuel pump relay

Without going through the almost unreadable wiring diagram, can anyone tell me which relay controls the fuel pump, or pumps? The shop my friend works in has a new injector cleaning machine, and they want to experiment on my car, for free. It will clean out the converters also. We just can't have any fuel pumps running during the process.......Thanks in advance.......Mike

You don't need the 'almost unreadable wiring diagram' itself, you just need the FRONT MATTERS section in the beginning of the electrical guide.

There is a page for relay locations and they are all marked.

Bob, I don't have the Front Matters section of the electrical guide. That is why I asked for assistance.

I located the relay in the trunk fuse box. For others that need this info, it is the relay next to the center relay of the 3 relays on the left side of the fuse box. The diagram said there was another relay in the row of relays next to it, for the top and windows, but that spot is vacant on mine.

When people ask for information, it means they have pretty much exhausted the resources that they have, and don't need to be talked down to.

I was one of the best in my field with VW, Porsche, Audi, in the 70s, 80s, and 90s, and I never made someone feel like less of a man, when they needed information or help.

You never stand taller, than when you help another......P.S. Thank you Gus.......Mike:icon_worthy:

When people ask for info SOMETIMES they are just lazy and want others to research info for them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Electrical Guide DOES have the info!!!!!!!!!!!!
