Question Headlights Failing when indicating left....

I think it might be a fault in the switch stalk, or a connection fault.
Main Beam wont work (main and dipped switch off) but the Main Beam flash works
On left indicator Main Beam and Dipped fail/switch off
On Right indicator Dipped Beam returns.

This is pristine 98 XK8, low mileage, stored dry UK Model

Anybody seen the same problem?
Can anyone give me a workshop manual section on removal/refit of indicator/light switch stalk?
Is there a problem area in light connections that might be causing this problem?
Regards
Andrew

Probably a broken wire in the stalk assy but if you don't want to research the problem wiring you should just replace the switch assy.

There are posts about what wires come loose and need to be re-soldered.
