Help needed!
 

My reverse light is out on my 2009 XK. I see two nuts holding it in but when removed still attached. Is the more under the trunk lid liner?


Now I am reading that it is by design that there is only one reverse light and one is supposed to be out! Is this a fact?

On my 2000 xk8 all of the rear lights are in one fixture , cluster. There are two plastic retainers that stick through the assembly. You just move them sideways a little bit and the whole cluster should pop off.You may have to fiddle with the carpet that is up against it. You should not have to remove any screws. The bulbs are push and turn type sockets.

Access is through the back and inside the trunk. Check the manual for further details.
