Default Hot air on floor
my 2000 xk8 ac blows cool on dash vent, but hot air is coming out the floor vents when in auto. Turn control to dash only and cool/warm comes out. Which door is not closing or not opening?

The blend door. It catches loose insulation and is blocked from proper operation. There are posts on fishing such out of the duct work. If that doesn't fix it . . . sell it.

Blend door either nor sealing or not moving.

See post #2 for sealing issue. If it's not moving, then Servomotor (item 3) will be the cause.
