Rip, you ask two very opposite questions, this when HOT, and https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...d-stall-64926/. If you're just fishing for information, can you at least keep it in the same thread? Maybe it'll get merged.

This is actually his fourth thread in two days, asking the same question.

Rip, as said before, if you give us some more information (have the diagnostic codes read and post them up here, for example), and keep your question to one thread, it will be a lot easier for the very helpful guys on this forum to respond.

Simply asking the same question (or an opposite, as H20Boy has pointed out) four times doesn't help us, or you.

We do want to help, but you gotta give us more to go on.

Just to give an answer, any air leak into the engine block or heads will cause an incorrect mixture and rough running and stalls. Just leaving out the dipstick will do it.

The codes you are getting are for a lean condition and low voltage on the O2 sensor circuit. The cause could be a dirty air filter, a dirty or bad Mass Air Flow Sensor, an intake air leak and a bad O2 sensor. Low fuel pressure and a bad fuel injector could also be at issue.
