Just finished another 2 XKs
I have posted this car up before with the XF light conversion, but now it is finished and back home with its owner ;)
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/m...rsion-8396.jpg And a view from the front https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/m...rsion-8395.jpg Also finished this one this week, the customer wanted 3" quads but with the wrap around bumper, so I took the exhaust apertures from our first Paragon rear bumper and grafted them in. With 2006 rear lights, working trunk plinth/button https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/m...lease-8390.jpg We lowered it fitted 20" Detroits and LED light rings, dont look too bad for a vert ;) https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/m...itted-8391.jpg All this info is also on our facebook page, just click on the link under my forum name! |
Love the look of the rear end with the XF tail lights, and the front end as well. That coupe looks beautiful with the front end, side skirts and modified rear end.
The rear end of the vert looks strange...maybe it is the angle of the photo. |
yah, the vert w/o the split rear bumper fascia looks odd, definitely works nicely for the coupe though!
I am diggin the XF conversion tail lights! It takes years off the apparent age of the car. I notice your customers don't like the jaguar badging on the front...is that normal around your parts? |
The XF tail lights give it an Aston Martin look.

Why is it that all auto photos from GB have a 'wet pavement' background?
Do you water down the asphalt just for the photo shoot? |

Very nice XKRacer...... The front end of the Convertible and the rear of the Coupe for me I think. Lovin the rear light upgrade and the exhaust tips too....mean!! Test point - The wet pavement look is down to lots and lots of rain unfortunately....lol |
Tony I have to say that is a work of art. I can't wait until my front bumper arrives.
|
they all look great and definitly upstyled and updated looks, but why cant I favorite your website. its says its coded

Thanks guys, we had 3 days of rain last week and I took those pics of the blue car in a break in the weather......
Would you beleive both cars have the same kit, same font, sides and rear bumper, I just did them in different ways, the vert had the quad pipe apertures grafted in, this also meant I had to loose the line around the exhaust like the blue one has. The vert has had the side sills blended, the blue XK did not. The vert retained its fog lights the blue car did not. Quite surprising the differences it made. Brutal you can bookmark my page you just cannot right click on it, I am afraid you will have to go into your favorites tool bar and click add, it was done for copyright reasons I am not sure I understand as no other site seems to have it :icon_shrug: |

The convertible will have a badge added to the front grille, the blue XK has nothing. The blue XK was done on a bit of a budget and that is one of the things that was not added to the list, good to keep people guessing ;) |
Thought might like to see these pics as a comparision

Definitely cool job what you did :)
However, it could be more pricey but DBS rear end and diffuser would make it perfect |

The customer that owns the light blue XK8 sent a You Tube clip to me, thought you guys might find it interesting seeing one of these cars on the move.
