Low whisteling sound when I press the gas. 2000 XK8 Convertible

Every time I hit the gas there is a low whisteling sound, If I let go of the gas it's gone. I can't remember installing a turbo, sooo, what could it be?

At cruise speed the noise is still there, only constant.

Sam's theory is one we can all subscribe to, but just in case ...

So is this an airflow kind of sound ... one that varies with RPM, or something else?
