the Motor with limited acting

I have a XK8 98 convertible, with 8.000 ml, good new,in the viewfinder of the panel it accused that
is "the Motor with limited acting" the one what that can be???? who can guide me???

More info needed. Get an OB II code read out from one of the parts stores that will do for free.

OBD II is a diagnostic communications standard that allows external test equipment to display trouble codes stored on the car's computer system(s). See this link http://www.obdii.com/connector.html

The codes will explain the trouble condition existing on the car.
