Motorola Tk30 bluetooth kit wiring question
Now that I've bridged the RT2 & RT5 connectors in the trunk of my 2000, the RT3 connector in the centre console should be ready to connect Audio from the phone on pins 1 & 2, but I can't decide which wires from the TK30 bluetooth kit to hook up to them!
The way I've decoded the Tk30 wiring, since I can't find a wiring diagram anywhere, ithas 4 pairs of wires for F/R L&R speakers which go to an ISO connector, stereo output for streaming music, and what I think is probably another set of wires for 4 speaker pairs. I was expecting to identify a pair of mono line level audio output wires for just the phone, but they don't seem to exist. So I'm thinking I need to use one of the speaker pairs (but I assume that's not at line level), or a channel of the stereo line output;(but I am planning to splice that into the CD changer) so neither of those seem like the right choice. So before I start experimenting, can someone who has been down this road enlighten me? Thanks |
Use a line level converter such as http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...FeRj7Aod3HAAjQ on one of the speaker outputs to feed the phone audio.

Thanks - I suspected that was what I needed to do, but wanted to check before I started buying more bits.
