No Start No Crank and multiple faults on the dash
 

I've been having a no start no crank issue with my 2006 XK8. The issue seems to happen at random and will usually start up a couple hours later in restricted performance mode. I can tell when it will not start when I place the key in the ignition and the "P" on the shifter doesn't illuminate. It will then go through the system checks and I get the following faults: Cruise not available, DSC system fault, Low brake fluid, Transmission fault, restricted performance. I've tried to research the problem and found others with the same problem but there is never any sort of solution posted. Any and all help is appreciated

the easiest way to diagnose is to start by pulling the codes. If you have access to a code reader or can borrow one, pull the fault codes and assistance can be provided. Not sure if you want to drive it but Advance Auto will read the codes for you

The intermittent nature of the issue and the associated fault list suggests the chip in the key head is failing to handshake with the transponder coil on the ignition lock.

You should add what has been tested, checked and eliminated as a possible cause so far.

I'm going to try and post an introduction for the third time, I'm and my phone and it keeps logging me out as I try to post.

As for the car, I have three sets of keys I've tried and the problems persists with each of them. A new battery didn't help the situation either. I've got a buddy with a code reader and I'll post the codes as soon as I have it scanned
