oil cooler problem

My wife parked to close to a concrete stop in a parking lot and now I need to either replace or fix my oil cooler. I was able to remoce the two nuts on the passenger side but the driver side the nuts and posts turn. Any help would be appreciated. Also any ideas on where to get a new cooler other than the dealership? How do I remove the mounts. I have read that I can turn them upside down and gain up to an extra 1.5 inch of clearance.

If the posts are spinning they obviuosly have broken free and to remove the brackets you may need to split the nuts with a tool like this:
You will proabably need to try to reuse the brackets even if they are beaten up and buy replacement nuts ...last time I checked Jaguar was no longer producing them.

I am sure with some effort, other oil coolers can be retrofitted, but if you want a bolt in replacement you need the Jag part. This is probably the best dealer price:
2001 JAGUAR XKR Parts - Direct JPLV Porsche Parts.com. There are are a couple of cheaper ones on ebay.

Thank you for the info and help. How do I get the brackets out to turn them upsidedown? I can't seem to see how they are attached.

Here is a picture of mine, the oil cooler pipes are held in with a bolt through the top of each lobe and the cooler is held in place by four rubber pegs with threadded bar at each end.

I got a replacement part from a breaker it was similar but not identical, the mounting wings were at the bottom rather then the top but it was still possible to mount it by hanging it from the brackets, rather than sitting it on top of the brackets. Its final position was the same.
