The old girl has been park and what's her revenge
 

Well the old girl has been parked for 6 weeks due to a knee surgery. She has has never gone with out having a weekly bath in 3 years. So I stumbled behind the wheel a gave her a start, she idled rough and then old faithful "restricted performance". The code reader has given me a po332 knock sencer circuit low input bank 2. Should I change just the one on bank 2 or do both due to her age? Have trip to Helen Ga at the end of the month. Thanks Jim

I replaced my bank 2 driver's side this spring. Fiddly job, helps to have a long flexible claw thing to grab the assembly out of the space under the manifold. I posted a question about the passenger side, because there seemed to be a rib on the manifold that prevented me from removing it from the mounting stud. Car ran fine with the one replacement. (I'll know more in a few weeks when I get back to it). First check your connectors on the thermostat housing to make sure they're good. Might just be that. If you need replacements, I got mine on ebay for about $30, they seem fine.

Thanks for the you help Mike, everything that I have read, seem like our fellow members are only replacing the one that has gone bad. Jim

I bet the battery was low. Weird electrical faults (false alarms) are the usual result. Charge the battery and see if the codes reappear.

Thanks for the reminder guys, that was the first thing that I did prior to starting the old girl. Went thru the battery issue last year.

Thanks Mike that's $100 dollars cheaper then the OME price. Will check the out in the morning. Did the plug and play on the senser and had the same results. For that price I think I will purchase both. Thanks Jim
