Only one door mirror works 99 XKR

hello everyone its my first post,i`ve been searching around and reading but am currently none the wiser.
1999 XKR UK reg,the passenger mirror does not respond to electric adjustment or the power fold operation, the drivers(rhd) works perfectly, just got the car and not sure where to start meddling. I cant seem to isolate a fuse to check and i am not sure where to check for power being supplied though my instinct says to start with the drivers door switch and check for an output of some sort.Any clues/suggestions welcome on where to start and what to test would be warmly welcome. I have posted on here rather than any other forum as you chaps seem to know the ins and outs of detail rather better than i have noticed elsewhere.
I`m still grinning after applying a squirt of wd40 to the little gate on the ignition barrel which allowed it to slide to and fro again meaning my key fob started working for the first time, the gate being stuck open meant an ecu somewhere thought the key was still in the ignition and stopped the fob working, found the tip on here somewhere, big, big thanks to someone.

On my 1997 the problem was in the door control module selector switch, which I did not realize until I replaced the mirror adjustment motor. I don't have the fold function so not sure about that.

Thanks for this info, does it mean replacing the whole module?

I found one real cheap so just went ahead and replaced it. You could try removing it and spraying with a contact cleaner. Another possibility is the motor itself, supposetly it is more likely to fail. That is why I replaced it first, but it did not help, door control module did the trick.

Power is supplied through the passenger door control module. If the passenger lock and window still works, the fuse is OK, and the door control module is at least partially functional.

Check the sticky in this forum and find the link to download JTIS. You will find a full circuit diagrams there of the system wiring.

Hi Chaps,
Just a thought as I had a problem similar to this one, try disconnecting the battery for a short time and then reconnect and try the mirror again as the mirror has a memory and it needs clearing. It worked for me anyway, and mine is the fold back type as well.
Good luck
